Teamlab firma una caleidoscopica mostra hi-tech dove si può persino sentire l’odore dell’universo. E l’aroma è garantito da un astronauta

Il collettivo di artisti, Teamlab, ben conosciuto in Italia per le spettacolari opere interattive del padiglione giapponese di Expo, quest’anno gioca in casa. E’, infatti, in corso a Tokio (fino al 31 di Agosto) la più grande mostra a loro mai dedicata.
L’esposizione firmata Teamlab è stata realizzata in collaborazione con dmm.com e Fuji television. Si intitola ‘Dmm.planets art by teamlab’ ed è inserita all’interno del vasto numero di eventi ‘Odaiba minna no yume tairiku‘ di Fuji television.

Costituita da un numero apparentemente infinito di leds permette di muoversi in ambienti diversi, ognuno dei quali con uno specifico aroma: l’odore di una foresta, dei fiori e quello dell’universo. Quest’ultimo è stato supervisionato dall’astronauta Naoko Yamazaki.
Ben 3mila metri quadri di installazioni digitali immersive ed interattive. Ci sono opere già esposte ed altre che Teamlab ha creato per l’occasione. Un vero e proprio caleidoscopio tridimensionale, che i visitatori avranno modo di attraversare, perdendosi in un labirinto di pareti che si espandono e ritraggono.

Per essere poi guidati da dalle carpe koi nelle acque digitali di un laghetto che sembra un dipinto astratto. Dalle pennellate però sempre diverse, come una danza (‘Drawing on the water surface created by the dance of koi and people — infinity’).
L’esposizione non perde poi l’occasione di far vivere l’esperienza un giardino fiorito tridimensionale in cui i visitatori, telefonino alla mano, possono decidere di far volare le farfalle (‘Floating in the falling flowers’).
L’opera che apre questa magica e spettacolare mostra firmata da Teamlab, infine, si intitola ‘Wander through the crystal universe’ (‘Vagando in un universo di cristallo’) ed è una vera e propria installazione monumentale.

Inutile dire che l’opera è completamente interattiva. I visitatori possono cambiare il colore e l’intensità delle luci. Ma anche modificare le dimensioni dello spazio con il proprio smartphone. (via Mymodernmet)
